Ford has had three victories at the Honest John Awards 2013. Wins for different makes provides an endorsement of the car manufacturer’s strong portfolio of products.
The Ford Fiesta ST has become the best-selling car of the month for April (2013) as registrations for new cars soared. In total, 163,357 new cars were purchased, and the car with the highest number of sales was the Ford Fiesta ST at 8,083 models sold and registered.
The new Ford Fiesta ST has risen above all expectations before it has even hit the showroom floors. Since the prices were announced at the end of January 2013, the Fiesta ST has already sold 1,000 units after car enthusiasts purchased the car in advance.

Ford has had no choice but to increase the production of its Kuga by ten per cent as demand in Europe soars. This vehicle, the latest utility vehicle to come from Ford, will have 100,000 units created annually for the first time.
Ford has received further good news with its three latest awards at the 2013 Fleet News Awards. The ceremony continues to add to Ford’s glowing reputation as one of the most popular car manufacturers in the world.
Ford UK has been given the flagship role in the production of the Fiesta ST. In total, it will gain half of the overall European production market.
The Ford Kuga has arrived at dealerships in the UK. Moreover, 1,850 people have actually bought the new car without booking a test drive first. It highlights the sheer popularity of the Kuga, and the Ford brand as a whole.

There is still a considerable amount of anger regarding the redundancies caused by the closure of the Southampton plant and the Dagenham tooling facility. Ford announced at the end of October that the production of the ever-popular Transit van will be transferred to Europe in 2013.
